Can I make changes to my plan?

Yes, you can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your subscription at any time.


  • Upgrade/downgrade: simply click the “upgrade/downgrade” button under the plan you wish to switch to
  • Cancel: Click the “Cancel Subscription” link at the bottom of your current plan’s description. We don’t offer refunds upon cancellation and if you cancel your plan you will still have access to the Botika platform until the end of your current plan’s billing cycle.

How your upgrade works depends on where you signed up:

  • Botika web platform: You’ll receive all the credits from your new plan immediately and be charged the full amount for the new plan. Your renewal date will reset to start a new billing cycle. ‍
  • Shopify app / iOS app: Upgrades are prorated. You’ll be charged only for the difference and receive the extra credits right away for the rest of your current billing period. From the next cycle, you’ll get the full amount of credits according to your new plan.


We’ve added a short explanation below of how our pro-rated upgrades are calculated:
  1. Pro-rata remaining days = # of days remaining in the current billing cycle / # of total days in the billing cycle
  2. Pro-rata rate charged = price of higher plan * pro-rata remaining days
  3. Once you’re charged the Pro-rata rate, you will receive the relative amount of credits based on the higher plan, until the next billing cycle.


If you downgrade your plan, it will only take effect in your next billing cycle so you can keep using the credits you have already paid for.



If you cancel your plan, all rollover credits expire immediately, and only the current cycle’s credits remain available until the end of your current billing cycle. We don’t offer refunds on payments that have already been made.
